A note from TMPI's President

To whom it may concern:

On March 16, 2020, and in accordance with the Alameda County Health Officer Shelter in Place Directive, Thermionics Laboratory Inc. (TLI) and its subsidiary TMPI ceased all non-essential business functions at 12:00 am March 17, 2020.

Effective 3/23, TLI and TMPI have resumed limited operations in support of our Defense Industrial Base (DIB) customers identified as a Critical Infrastructure Sector by the Department of Homeland Security.

As providers of products and services essential to critical infrastructure as outlined in this directive, Thermionics Laboratory Inc. and TMPI meet the standards as defined on the Dept. of Homeland Security website including but not limited to the following critical infrastructure segments:

  • Critical Manufacturing
  • Defense Industrial Base Sector (e.g Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory)
  • Energy Sector (e.g Stanford Linear Accelerator Center)
  • Healthcare and Public Health Sector
  • Information Technology

Please be assured that the health and safety of our employees is our highest priority. We have taken additional measures to minimize the potential risk of exposure to our employees through multiple actions, ranging from additional site sanitization, remote work, split and/or rotating shift arrangements for production, and social distancing protocols. As a supplier to Critical Infrastructure sectors, we will make our best effort to continue the supply of our products and services with minimal disruption and continue to provide you updates as the situation develops.
